Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic opportunity this week to go surfing at Whitmore Bay. The lifeguards taught the children all about beach safety and the dangers to look out for. They learnt about respecting the water and making sensible choices. The children used boards to rescue each other and developed their confidence in the water.

Show Racism the Red Card have hosted a number of thought provoking workshops in Key Stage 2. We had the opportunity to discuss prejudice and racism in sport and every day life. The importance of respecting others cultures, religious beliefs and appearance is an important message actively promoted by our Ambassadors and School council.
