Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic opportunity this week to go surfing at Whitmore Bay. The lifeguards taught the children all about beach safety and the dangers to look out for. They learnt about respecting the water and making sensible choices. The children used boards to rescue each other and developed their confidence in the water.
As part of Digital Literacy Week, the school gathered ideas and developed methods to keep the school safe whilst online. We have been implementing those findings and sharing the e-safety charter with the school in anticipation of the release of our exciting new website! Keep an eye out for our WOW-derful new website, coming soon!
As part of World Environment Day classes participated in a range of activities to promote sustainability. The Eco committee worked together to collect photos and share out tasks across the school.
