Year 5 have been discussing the impact of cyber bullying with PC Thompson. Dosbarth Bedwen and the E-Cadets held debates and workshops on the importance of staying safe, respectful and responsible when online. The hints and tips will be shared by our E-Cadets in our campaign to protect ourselves online.

Classes have been busy preparing for our storytelling festival in the garden before half term. Children are learning to tell stories orally with actions to support their re-telling, which make them both entertaining and memorable.

Children from Dosbarth Bedwen are very excited to be performing in period costume at the 70th anniversary celebration of VE Day this Saturday 9th May at Barry Island Train Station. All welcome from 2pm, to celebrate, commemorate, and remember this special event. The event is being hosted by our friends at the Barry at War Group.

We would like to remind families how very important it is to park safely before and after the school day. We would like to remind you that the best way to keep our children safe and prevent obstructions is to park away from the zig zag lines or if and when possible to walk to school.
